HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has added the ePouch feature to its My OOCL Centre's eFolder service to help customers send a bill of lading copy and a statement of account to third parties.
Users will only require the recipient's email address to use the "simple and fast" ePouch function, a press statement from the carrier said.
While OOCL's existing customers can use their MOC or CargoSmart accounts to access the ePouch service, new users can register at http://www.oocl.com/ free of charge.
My OOCL Centre was developed by the shipping line to reduce business costs, save time, and offer total transparency and maximum control to its customers.
