An electronic cargo manifest platform is to be completed and launched to the civil aviation market in China by the end of April, Logistics Week reported.

Jointly developed by TravelSky Technology Limited, a state-owned civil aviation information technology company, and Tsinghua University Shenzhen Research Institute, the platform is an integration of the currently cargo sales systems of forwarders and carriers as well as the airport logistics administration systems, bound to enhance the competitiveness of China's air cargo industry.

The platform will enable online data collection,exchange and electronic document management.
