THE airport's No 1 ground handler, Hong Kong Cargo Terminals Ltd (Hactl) has attained the Cargo 2000 certification, confirming Hactl to be in compliance with the requirements of the standard and scope of work under Cargo 2000 Quality Management System.

"Hactl always aims to offer quality services and to raise the bar for higher attainment," said Hactl service delivery director Kenneth Bell.

Cargo 2000 is an IATA-sponsored standards rating group for the air cargo industry. Cargo 2000 members include airlines, freight forwarders, ground handlers, trucking companies and IT providers. Upon completion of a quality audit, Hactl is the first local cargo terminal operator demonstrating operational and service integrity in conformity with the Cargo 2000 Quality Management System standards.
